Marian Catholic College has a Careers Webpage where information is updated regularly with Careers advice and Information.


The Study Work Grow website is an important source of information for our students - in particular our Year 10, 11 & 12 students. It includes information, NDWS and events from the Careers Association of NSW and a range of education providers.

Grandshake is an organisation that is encouraging students to spend time improving skills for no cost. TAFE also has a range of courses that focus on skill development. Careers Update - 15 October 2021 - University Information

The year is quickly coming to an end for our Year 12 students. The Careers Advisers Association of NSW& ACT has written a letter of concern to universities over early offers to students and then prompting them when accepting the offer to enrol at the same time for 2022. The basis of the concern of Careers Advisers is prompting students to choose subjects in the course and enrol in HECS even though enrolment is not required to be finalised until early 2022. Careers Update - 13 September 2021

These last few weeks have been a time of uncertainty for Year 12 students with the decision to delay the start of the HSC until the 9th of November. The flow on from this is that the HSC results will not be released to students until Monday 24th January 2022. However, the ATAR will be released on Thursday the 20th January and the students will have until midnight of the 21st to change preferences. The release of the ATAR prior to the actual release of the HSC results is to enable the universities to have sufficient time to offer places and begin their academic year on time. Read more...
