📝 HSC Practice Trial Examinations 📝 Today, our Year 12 students, together with our accelerated Year 10 and Year 11 students, commenced their HSC Practice Trial Examinations. Held over three days across the majority of HSC courses, these examinations provide students with a valuable opportunity to experience exam conditions and receive detailed feedback. Students can then use this feedback to refine their knowledge, skills and exam techniques before the official HSC Trial Examinations in August. Congratulations to all of our students for the positive way they have approached these examinations. We wish them every success as they continue to give their best throughout the week.

Congratulations to our dance troupes who represented Marian at the PDSSSC Dance Competition this week. Competing against schools from across the diocese, our students demonstrated exceptional talent and dedication. 🥇1st place - senior contemporary 🥇1st place - senior jazz 🥈2nd place - hip hop 🥉3rd place - junior solo (Charlotte T, Year 7) These outstanding results saw Marian crowned PDSSSC Champion School (for the 5th consecutive year)!!! Throughout the year, our students have been inspired by some of the industry’s most talented choreographers - Pete Evans, Terina Edwards, Kyle Borg and Lachlan Thomas. Through workshops, they have challenged our dancers to step outside their comfort zones, refine their skills and grow as performers. Congratulations to all of our dancers!! 👏👏👏

And that’s a wrap!!! We've had THE TIME OF OUR LIVES! ❤️🎭 Congratulations to our incredible cast, band, crew, staff and families—thank you for giving it everything for the 80's!!! Through every rehearsal, every performance, you reminded us why girls (and boys) just want to have fun!! There were moments that had us walking on sunshine, days that felt more like nine to five, and a cast full of material girls (and boys!). Thankfully, no one ever really gave love a bad name, and one thing's for sure... we're never gonna give you up! So before you wake me up before you go-go, one last heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported Back to the 80's. Whether you performed, worked behind the scenes, volunteered your time or cheered from the audience, you helped make this show one we'll never forget. Until the next production... thanks for the memories. ⭐🎉👏👏👏

💚💛 Green & Gold at Lunch Today! 💛💚 Our school community proudly donned green and gold today as we came together to watch the second half of the Australia vs Paraguay World Cup match at lunchtime! On Friday 26 June, we will be showing our support for the Socceroos by celebrating with a splash of green and gold! 💚💛💚💛 Students are invited to wear their favourite Australia themed clothing and accessories, including green and gold colours, Australia jerseys/shirts, scarves, beanies, hats, ribbons, or other appropriate items, over their usual school uniform. ‼️Please do not bring face paint, zinc, or glitter. This is a fun opportunity for our school community to come together and cheer on the Socceroos while showing our Australian spirit. We encourage students to participate and help create a sea of green and gold throughout the school. Please ensure that all clothing and accessories remain suitable for a school environment and that students continue to wear their regular school uniform underneath. ⚽️🏆 Congratulations to Mrs McGrath and the Open Girls Football Team on their outstanding 3–0 victory over Gilroy in yesterday's Grand Final. With this impressive win, the team now advances to the NSWCCC Quarter Finals next term, where they will represent PDSSSC against Wollongong. We are incredibly proud of the girls' dedication, teamwork and determination throughout the competition. Well done!!! 👏👏👏
