As the season of Lent begins, Marian College again focussed our Term 1 fundraising on Caritas Project Compassion, starting with Shrove Tuesday.
Each year Project Compassion inspires so many communities to come together to raise much needed funds for the most vulnerable women, children and men in Australian and around the world. Together, we can all help to break the cycle of poverty and injustice.
Our teachers and student leaders were busy making pancakes for students and staff at recess. We had hundreds of pancakes topped with many sweet treats with all proceeds going to Caritas Project Compassion. It was great to see so many students having "stacks" of fun and contributing to our cause.
Thank you to all the teachers and students involved in helping!
